④ Applicable standards

ASTM A240 · JIS G4305 · GB/T 3280

⑤ Typical applications

Interior decoration, cookware liners, low-corrosion hardware, appliance shells, dry-zone cladding

⑥ Substitution and selection advice

Cheaper but lower corrosion resistance. Not recommended for wet, coastal or chemical environments. Only a substitute for 304 in dry indoor areas.

Chemical and mechanical data quoted from the public ASTM A240 standard. Available sizes are standard ranges; the contract and technical agreement prevail.
