What You Can Expect
- Old and New Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = former 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304. All three are printed side by side, so customs and design institutes do not have to cross-check.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width up to 2000 mm; cold rolled 2B / BA, hot rolled No.1, and HL / 8K / embossed for surface-finished sheet.
- Certificates can be issued to GB/T, or to EN 10204 3.1 in parallel; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) arranged before loading.
Frequently Asked
Chemically they are equivalent and interchangeable. The difference is the judging standard: GB/T 3280 vs ASTM A240. We print both designations on the certificate so neither customs nor drawing review rejects the shipment.
We take the stricter value of each element (usually carbon content and mechanicals) and list both standard numbers on the certificate, so one shipment clears both markets.
